The Lexus IS is a luxury saloon that combines aggressive styling with agile performance. Introduced in 1998, the Lexus IS is currently in its third generation which has been in production since 2013. The IS was previously sold under the Toyota Altezza nameplate. In terms of looks, the IS was inspired by the LF-CC concept, but with a composite headlamp cluster and a unique interpretation of the spindle grille. The Lexus IS competes with the BMW 3 Series, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, and Audi A4.
